Ultrasound technology provided in our office uses high-frequency sound waves reflecting off of internal body parts to create images, especially of the fetus in the womb during the course of your pregnancy.

Highland Women’s Care has been accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine for performing obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound. We have fulfilled nationally accepted standards and demonstrated consistent excellence in patient care.

The Early Screen is quickly taking the place of the well known Quad Screen in the early months of pregnancy. The Early Screen is an optional (finger stick) blood collection combined with an ultrasound measurement at 11 weeks to 13 weeks 6 days. This combined method is proving to be much more accurate and is now the preferred method of screening for genetic abnormalities. Highland Women's Care will keep up with today's technology when it promises to deliver more accurate tests results for you and your baby!
