Highland Women's Care joins with Monroe Clinic!
(MONROE, WI/ FREEPORT, IL)—January 28,
2008—Dr. Keith Martin and Monroe Clinic have signed
an agreement to join together to provide women’s
health services in Freeport, IL. The practice will
operate as Monroe Clinic-Highland Women’s Care at
its present 3103 West Kunkle Boulevard address. An
official conversion to Monroe Clinic is expected to
take place March 31, 2008.

possibilities the relationship with Monroe Clinic
provides our practice. And while we look forward to
good things to come, patients should rest assured
that the quality of care and the level of service we
provide will not change,” said Dr. Martin. “In
addition taking care of patients, I will personally
continue to be deeply committed to the community
through my involvement in many
professional, school, church, and community
organizations,” said Dr. Martin.

The addition of Highland Women’s Care
brings the number of Monroe Clinic’s Illinois
locations to four, and the number of providers in
Freeport to 15. Keith Martin, MD, FACOG, (Fellow of
American College of Obstetricians and
Gynecologists), and Sara Smith, APN/CNP (Advanced
Practice Nurse/Certified Nurse Practitioner) join
Monroe Clinic Freeport providers Amy Johnson, MD and
Angela Miller, MD (Pediatrics); Michael Muise, MD
and Judd Pulley, MD (Family Practice); MD Tony Kille,
MD and Anthony Rogerson, MD, (Ear, Nose, and
Throat); Whittney Zimdahl, PT (Physical Therapy);
Nancy Purdy, OT (Occupational Therapy); Brian Mamott,
PhD (Psychology); Daniel Reilly, DO (Psychiatry);
Carol Lancaster, RN, CDE, (Patient Education);
Colette Wyttenbach, RD, CDE (Dietitian); and Galina
Sabir, MD (Cardiology). Efforts to recruit a fourth
OB/GYN physician for the Freeport area will begin
immediately to provide the same level of service in
both the Freeport and Monroe markets.

About Highland Women’s Care
Dr. Keith Martin is a board-certified OB/GYN,
practicing in his specialty since 1988. He opened
Highland Women’s Care in 2002 with the idea of
providing personalized care in a professional
environment. Dr. Martin is well known for his
exceptional patient rapport, and believes strongly
that education is a large part of a patient’s care.
Dr. Martin’s passion for the field continually leads
him to discover advanced technology to help insure
the well being of his patients. In addition to his
continuing education, he is active in numerous
organizations. He is currently an assistant clinical
professor in the department of OB/GYN at the
University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School. He
also serves as Treasurer of the Illinois Section of
